
Training Center for Emergency and Crisis Management, Hayat, and in cooperation with Roots Foundation for Health and Social Development on behalf of the American Heart Association, conducted a medical activity on how to save a life in a minute. The training came after the American Heart Association announced that the month of May is the month of “life-saving”.
The training event targeted the staff and the students at the university, where they were trained on how to save the life of an unconscious person in any place and in only one minute through t”CPR”, and on how to deal with infected people in crises in order to keep their lives as much as possible.
IUG President Professor Adel Awadallah commended the role of Hayat Center in organizing training courses, especially as it raises training topics of interest to the community.
The head of Life Center, Dr. Bassem Naim, provided explanation of the nature of the training center. and that the event aims to educate the public and make them aware of how to enable them to save a life when needed, stressing on the need to instill the awareness of all members of society, especially as the Palestinian community is always exposed to crises.
Participants in the training expressed their delight doing this humanitarian work. A group of deaf students participated in the training course.
