5th Conference: Evidence-based Medicine (Medical Education and Clinical Practice)

The Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University in Gaza conducted its fifth scientific conference in collaboration with the faculty of medicine at Oxford University, titled Evidence-Based Medicine (Medical Education and Clinical Practice), on the 25^th and 26^th of October, 2013 in the main conference hall.

The conference was held in the presence of Dr. Mofeed Al Mokhalalati, the Minister of Health and the co-founder and former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Omar Ferwana, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Khamees Al Essi, the General Coordinator of the Conference, Dr. Fadel Naim; Chairman of the scientific committee, Dr. Abdulmone’m Lubbad; Chairman of the preparatory committee, the academic and administrative members of the Faculty of Medicine, and a large number of academics, researchers,  and specialists in the medical fields and medical students.

An academic delegation from the Oxford University in the UK of eleven academics headed by Prof. David Cranston, the most senior lecturer of clinical surgery in the university, participated in the conference.
