9th Conference: Medical Education in Palestine – a Holistic Approach

The faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza in cooperation with the Palestinian Medical Forum “Student Branch” held in October 2021 the 9th international conference of the College of Medicine and the first International Medical Student Conference under the title:
“Medical Education in Palestine – A Holistic approach”.
The conference addressed the reality of medical education and training in Palestine and shed light on the challenges, obstacles, and means of development to empower beneficiaries (students and residents) and grant them the opportunity to influence decision-making.

Conference aims:

  1. To shed light on the reality of medical education and medical training in Palestine
  2. To review the relevant local and international experiences in medical education and medical training
  3. To enhances students’ ability to discover challenges and draw solutions
  4. To provide a forum for stakeholders and decision-makers in medical education and medical training in Palestine
  5. To review the most significant challenges and obstacles facing medical education and medical training in Palestine
  6. To provide a networking platform for educational institutions and medical student frameworks in Palestine
  7. To formulate recommendations that support the development of medical education and medical training in Palestine
