A delegation from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in the UK visited the Faculty of Medicine at IUG to discuss joint cooperation and ways of developing curricula and study programmes especially in the field of pediatrics.
Prof. Adel Awadallah, President of the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG), welcomed the delegation which was headed by Mrs. Margaret Lynch.
Prof. Awadallah confirmed on furthering joint cooperation on the academic and research level connecting the Islamic University with British universities as well as global institutions in many disciplines, including the medical field.
He also briefed the delegation on the structure of the medical specialties at IUG in terms of colleges, academic staff, and scientific laboratories.
During a work meeting, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Dr. Fadel Naim discussed the importance of developing continuous education programmes and training for those working in pediatrics.
